Terms of Payment
Payment for all goods purchased is required within 7 days of date of invoice either by cash, bank deposit, international transfer or Paypal. We do not take credit cards and payment must be "cleared" funds into our bank account before goods are freighted or collected.
Australian cheques may be accepted but goods will not be released until cheque has cleared into our bank account. If payment is via Paypal, then an additional 2.6% will be charged to invoice for costs incurred to us by Paypal. If payment is via International Bank Transfer, please check with your bank prior to transfer of any additional bank charges. Bowerbird Pickers may charge the purchaser any additional international bank charges incurred our end for transactions and we reserve the right to refuse certain types of payment.
Retention of Title
Goods supplied by us remain the property of Bowerbird Pickers until payment for goods and freight has been received and cleared in full.
Warranties
Subject to the appropriate statutory limitations, no condition is made or to be implied, nor is any warranty given or to be implied, as to the quality, life, wear or suitability of any such goods supplied as all goods advertised are sold as "secondhand with blemishes as described in product description".
Packaging, Freight, Delivery &
Consequential Loss
Delivery will be charged extra and is subject to quotation. If on the Sunshine Coast (Caloundra to Noosa) Bowerbird Pickers can provide our own delivery service at an additional cost and must be paid for prior to delivery. We can suggest Pack and Send couriers for interstate or internationally (or you can organise your own shipping) and will provide weight and dimensions for your freight company.
We are happy to package all goods as best as we can and will take photos on packing and email them to the purchaser prior to posting. As enamel signs vary significantly in weight, pick up is an option too on the Sunshine Coast from Caloundra. Due to the weight and size factor and dependant upon the location of the purchaser, it is difficult to put a set figure on freight.
For overseas buyers, we can package and organise your preferred freight method to any country. This would also be dependant upon size, weight, country and zip code and preferred freight method e.g. air or sea.
Payment & Shipping Terms
In the event of ourselves being unable to supply or deliver the goods ordered, we undertake to refund any money paid in respect of such goods, but shall not otherwise be under any liability whatsoever. We shall not in any event be liable for consequential damage or loss.
No responsibility is accepted for any consequential loss or subsequent losses howsoever arising from the use of any materials or goods supplied.
Insurance
It is the responsibility of the buyer to take out their own insurance for the goods for potential loss and damage during transit.
Goods in Transit, Receipt & Inspection
Goods despatched by Bowerbird Pickers using a carrier, courier, post office or any other means must be inspected for damage on delivery and any damage or shortage, designated freight company must be informed. Bowerbird Pickers must be notified immediately by email.
Certain items such as glass or very breakable items must be insured for freight by the purchaser and subsequently freight is at the buyers risk and we cannot be held responsible for any breakages. Having said that, we will of course do our utmost to ensure that items are packed carefully and securely to avoid any possible damage in transit.
The purchaser must ensure they have given the correct address and delivery information, together with email and phone contact to Bowerbird Pickers prior to goods being dispatched.
GST
No GST charges applicable.
Currencies
Prices for our products on this website are in Australian Dollars excluding GST, postage, delivery and freight. Some countries may charge Import Duty, therefore buyer's must check their own Import regulations.
Consequential Loss
Bowerbird Pickers accepts no responsibility for any consequential loss or subsequent costs howsoever arising from the use of new or reclaimed goods supplied by Bowerbird Pickers.
